Your Clothes Are Always Soaking Wet
Sure, your clothes are supposed to still be wet at the end of the final spin cycle. However, that final spin cycle was designed to get as much of the excess water out of your clothes as it can. When you pick up your clothes out of the washing machine, you should be able to tell that they are wet, but that should be about it. You should not be able to wring a bunch of water out of them, nor should you be able to see water dripping from the clothes as you put them in the dryer. Not only is this a sign that your washing machine is breaking down, but you could damage your dryer by forcing it to work twice as hard to dry your soaking wet clothes.
The Machine Is Always Bouncing Around
Beyond the small vibration that occurs when the washing machine goes through the various cycles, it should not move a lot. Therefore, if you are finding that the washing machine is always drastically moving around and you have to push it back a few inches every time you are done washing a load of clothes, you need to call in an expert. The problem might be something as simple as the washing drum needs to be tightened. You Can't Use Half Of The Controls
While some washing machine models will have more than others, you should have a few different washing cycles to pick from. Should you find the one or more of those are not working, you will need to call in a washer repair technician. It could be something as simple as a broken knob or it could be that there is a bad wire somewhere in the control panel. Either way, it is an issue that you are going to want to have repaired right away.
